After completing a formal dog trainer certification program, I had no idea how to get started as a dog trainer and was not quite confident enough in a couple of areas. I did not know how to start my own group classes or what to do first when I went into a clients home. And what about multiple dogs in the house and children, cats and neighbors? If there was somewhere I could have gone to gain practical knowledge and get some hands-on dog training experience, I would have saved myself time and money in the long run. I spent months and years learning on the job and developing effective programs and strategies to be successful. Now, after years of experience, I can offer you the program that I wish had been available to me.
This dog training mentorship program will be customized to fit your needs. It will be your program and I will work with you privately one-on-one in any and all areas that you want experience with. We will have an in length phone conversation prior to starting where we will discuss what your goals are and where you feel you need the most work, and that is exactly what we will work on. If it is walking into people's homes, we will do a lot of in home private sessions with actual clients. If you need help booking clients, we will practice the initial phone calls with real client calls. If you need handouts, we can work on those or your business cards, fliers, website, etc. This is a hands-on program. You will be going to clients homes, answering phone calls, developing lesson plans, and anything else that you feel will help give you the best start as a dog trainer.

This program is designed to fit your needs and help you become comfortable and confident when going to work as a dog trainer. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a Tellington TTouch Practitioner in business in Eugene, Oregon. I use positive training methods only, so that is the only approach I will be using when working with you. The rates for this private one-on-one dog trainer mentor program are as follows, but can be tailored to fit your needs. We can do more hours each day, more days, less days, please call or email and I will do my best to meet your specific needs. If you are coming in from out of town, I can help you arrange accommodations and dates most suited to your needs.
2 1/2 Day Weekend Program - total of 15 working hours = $300.00
5 Day Program - 5 hours each day-total 25 working hours = $500.00
8 Day Program - 5 hours each day-total 40 working hours = $700.00
12 Day Program-5 hours each day-total 60 working hours = $1,000.00
